• What are the advantages of using self drive rather than a limousine service?

  When you hire a limousine you are not only paying for the hire of the car, the use of the driver but also paying for the travel time to get to your wedding. With our cars they are hired by you for the day and therefore you don't have to worry about paying for something you're not using.

• How long is a "Day" rental for?

  The rental period starts from when you collect the car in the morning to when we pick it up after the reception to a maximum of 10 hours.

• Is it risky using classic cars due to their age?

  No, the cars we use are well preserved and restored classics that can stand up to any test. The only noticeable difference is that they like to take things a little slower than the new cars. The cars are all serviced regularly and are always in the roadworthy condition. If the cars are treated well and driven accordingly they will provide the occupants with a real driving experience.

• Do we have to refuel the cars before they are collected after the wedding?

  No, the hire cost includes a full tank of fuel at collection and we top up the tank when we pick then up.

• Do the drivers need a special licence or skills to drive the cars?

  No, the drivers just need to be over 25 years of age and require an Open Australian drivers licence and be able to drive automatic or manual cars. The cars are very easy to drive.

• Does the hire cost include the ribbons and dressing for the cars?

  Yes, the cars are dressed ready for the occasion on collection and with prior arrangement cars can be supplied with the ribbon colour of your choice. Any extra items are up to you to provide. Please remember to remove your own items after the hire period.

• Isn't it better to have professional drivers?

  It is the same as any part of your wedding, it comes down to planning. Choose your drivers carefully. If they plan their journey well and look the part all will go well. Remember, with a limousine rental you have a driver being paid by the hour and this can cause you to rush your precious photos. With our cars you have the luxury of taking your time and relaxing on your special day.

• What if I do not have anyone to drive the cars, can you supply drivers?

  No, we are not able to supply drivers with the cars but speak to our helpful staff for options.
